Our story
About InternetFindr
We built InternetFindr because zip-code internet search is broken. Your address has the truth — so we use it.
What we do
InternetFindr is an independent internet plan comparison service. We show you every provider, plan, and price that actually serves your address — not the generic results that come from a five-digit zip code. We use the FCC National Broadband Map covering 1,600+ providers nationwide, including the small regional ISPs and WISPs the big comparison sites ignore.
Why we exist
Most internet comparison sites rank providers by who pays them most. We don't. Our editorial picks come from data: actual speeds, real prices, transparent contract terms. When we earn a commission from an affiliate, we disclose it. When a provider is overpriced or underperforms in your area, we say so.
Our principles
- Address-accurate. Zip codes lie. Addresses don't. That's why we use yours.
- Unbiased rankings. Editorial scores, not pay-to-rank.
- Real data. FCC National Broadband Map coverage plus published provider plan data — sources you can check.
- Empowering, not pushy. You decide. We just show what's actually available.
How we make money
InternetFindr earns a commission when you click an affiliate link and sign up with a provider. This never affects our editorial rankings — methodology is published at /methodology. If a cheaper or better plan exists from a non-affiliate, we still show it. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.
