What we collect

• Address & ZIP you enter to look up internet providers.
• Contact info — name and phone number when you submit a lead form or request a call.
• Email address if you subscribe to plan alerts or our newsletter.
• Consent record — the exact TCPA consent language you agreed to, the timestamp, and your user agent.
• Usage data — pages visited, device type, referrer, UTM parameters, and IP address via standard analytics.
• Marketing pixels from Meta and Google to measure ad performance and serve relevant ads.

Why we collect it

• To return accurate provider results for your address.
• To connect you by phone or text with an internet-service partner who can enroll you in a plan.
• To send the alerts and newsletters you signed up for.
• To measure which ads and pages work, and to improve the site.

How we share your information (and how we make money)

InternetFindr is a free service to consumers. We are compensated by internet-service providers, their authorized dealers, and third-party call-center partners when a visitor we refer signs up for a plan or completes a qualifying phone call. This compensation model means:

• Lead data (name, phone, address, plan preferences) is shared with — and, in exchange for compensation, sold or transferred to — one or more authorized call-center partners or internet-service providers so they can contact you. Under some privacy laws (including CCPA/CPRA), this transfer qualifies as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
• Phone calls you place to numbers on this site are routed through a call-tracking platform (Retreaver) so the receiving partner and InternetFindr can attribute the call. Calls may be recorded and/or monitored by the receiving call-center partner for quality assurance, training, and compliance purposes; by calling, you consent to such recording where permitted by law.
• Analytics & advertising — we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Meta Conversions API, and Google Tag Manager to send page-view and conversion signals (including hashed identifiers) to those platforms so we can measure ad performance and serve relevant ads.

We do not sell your bare email address to third-party mailing-list aggregators.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other US-state residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and for compensated partner transfers as described above.

To exercise this right, email privacy@internetfindr.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" and include the name, phone number, email, and/or street address you want us to suppress. We will process the request within 15 business days and confirm by email. You may also authorize an agent to submit the request on your behalf.

You can opt out of ad-network tracking directly via your browser settings or aboutads.info/choices. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP to any text.

Your other choices

• Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of every email we send.
• Request deletion or access of your data by emailing privacy@internetfindr.com.

California & GDPR rights

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) and EU/UK residents (GDPR) have additional rights to access, correct, port, and delete personal data, and to opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising. Email privacy@internetfindr.com with your request; we will respond within 30 days (45 for GDPR).

Children

InternetFindr is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
